CaFHS response to COVID-19
09 Sep 2020
With the impact of COVID-19, it’s important that staff and families continue to feel supported and safe during this unprecedented time.
CaFHS is following strict advice from the Australian Government and SA Health to minimise the spread of this virus. In addition to our existing hygiene standards and measures, families will be asked a series of COVID screening questions, including:
- Asking all families if they or anyone in their household has travelled internationally or interstate in the past 14 days
- Been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
- Suffering from any respiratory symptoms including cough, sore throat, fever or shortness of breath
Self-weigh facilities and drop in clinics continue to temporarily suspended while we look at ways to manage the number of people onsite at any given time. More information about this will be shared shortly.
CaFHS is continually reviewing its processes in response and will continue to update our practices if the situation changes.
