Now that we are officially into Spring in Australia, we are having some warmer days - but often the nights are still cold.
If you are going to be out later in the day, it is a good idea to be prepared for any changes in the weather.
- Do you have sunscreen in your backpack?
- Do you have a bottle of water?
- Do you have an extra jumper or jacket?
If you have all those things, that's great, BUT
- How big is your backpack?
- How heavy is it?
- Are you wearing it properly?
Backpacks are a great way to carry your stuff around, but maybe it's a good idea to have 2 of them - one for school and one for going to places like the Mall, the Beach, the Pool or for just hanging out with friends.
Why? Because if you are going to be carrying it around all day, then you don't want it to be so big and heavy that you get tired too quickly. Also, a huge backpack can be a nuisance in a crowded area or on public transport.
Do you know how to wear a backpack properly? If you want to know all about backpacks our new topic can help you (Backpacks - or how to carry your life around with you).
